Fill in the form and your answer appears here as you type.

How it works

Hours a year = hours a day x 365. 3 hours a day is 1,095 hours.

Full days = hours / 24, which is about 46 days here, and 40-hour work weeks = hours / 40.

A week is 7 days and a month is one twelfth of a year.

Formulas and details
  • Hours a year = hours a day x 365.
  • Full days = hours / 24.

Assumptions

  • The number you enter is an average. Real days vary.
  • The page does not judge screen use. A screen can be work, a call or a book.
  • A year is counted as 365 days.

Example

Input: The starting values already in the form

Result: 3 hours a day is about 1,095 hours a year: about 46 full 24-hour days. That is 21 hours a week and about 91 hours a month.

Questions

Where do I find my screen time?

Many phones show a daily average in their settings. Enter that or your own estimate.

Is 3 hours a lot?

The page does not say. It shows what the number adds up to so you can think about it.
