Recipe Nutrition Per Serving

What is in one serving of a recipe?

Enter the totals for the whole recipe and the number of servings to see one serving.

About this tool & how to use it

What it does

Divides the totals for a whole recipe by the number of servings to show the calories and nutrients in one serving.

How to use it

  1. Enter how many servings the recipe makes.
  2. Enter the totals for the whole recipe: calories, protein, carbohydrate, fat, fiber, sugar and sodium.
  3. Read the calories per serving first, then the other nutrients.

One click answer

Your answer will appear here.

Fill in the form and your answer appears here as you type.

How it works

Per serving = recipe total / number of servings. A 1,800-calorie recipe in 6 servings is 300 calories each.

The page adds nothing of its own: the totals come from the labels or database you used.

A blank value stays blank.

Formulas and details
  • Per serving = recipe total / servings.

Assumptions

  • The totals are the ones you type. The page has no food database and does not look anything up.
  • Cooking changes weight and sometimes nutrients, so the result is an estimate.
  • Everything you type stays in this page. Nothing is sent or saved.

Example

Input: The starting values already in the form

Result: Each serving is about 300 calories. That is the whole recipe divided into 6 equal servings.

Questions

Where do I get the totals?

Add up the labels of the ingredients, or use a food database you trust, then enter the sums here.

No. The answer assumes equal servings.
