Fill in the form and your answer will appear here.

Everything is calculated in your browser: the prices and numbers you enter are never sent anywhere or stored. We do not know any store's prices or tax rates, and these results are arithmetic, not advice to buy.

How it works

Weekly = cost per cup x cups: $4.50 x 5 = $22.50. A year is 52 weeks: $1,170.

A home cup at $0.60 is $156 a year, so the difference is $1,014.

Assumptions

  • The costs per cup are yours: for a home method include the coffee, filters and any machine cost you want counted.
  • Taste and convenience are not in the numbers.

Example

Input: The starting values already in the form

Result: Method A costs $1,014.00 more a year ($1,170.00 against $156.00).
