Fill in the form and your answer appears here as you type.

How it works

From odometer readings: miles driven / days between the dates = miles per day, times 365. 12,500 miles over 365 days is 12,500 a year.

From a usual amount: miles per day x 365, per week x 52, or per month x 12.

Assumptions

  • A year is counted as 365 days.
  • A short period can mislead: a month with a long trip is not a typical month. Use a longer gap for a steadier answer.

Example

Input: The starting values already in the form

Result: You drive about 12,500 miles a year. 12,500 miles over 365 days is about 34.2 miles a day.
